Been awhile...

Haven't updated in awhile, so I am kinda lost, yea i know nothing new!

So..Jordan is now 16 and got his license!! AHHH!! Makes me feel old even though he isn't my kid and I have only known him for 5 years. I just hope and pray that he has very safe travels where ever he may go. The summer is just about here for him to get outta school so I hope we get to see him more if he isn't too busy with baseball.

Kaelyn, is totally potty trained!! It is so awesome. Less diapers to buy a month and wipes. It is so much nicer when you take her places also cause you don't have to carry a diaper bag around :) But in the same sense my baby is way more independent now and I don't like it. They grow up so fast. She had her last soccer game 2 weeks ago. I am so proud of her and how good she has gotten at playing soccer. I am going to sign her up in the fall also and I am thinking of volunteering as her coach...yay.

Kori is well...umm Kori. She has her 2nd molars still coming in and it is driving her crazy and me as well. She still amazes me day by day of how much of a big girl she is becoming. Now if I can just get that binkie away from her at night.

We took the girls to Daytona beach bout 2 weeks ago. I did not know but they have a SunSplash Spray Park! We totally need one here in Ocala, I know i would take the girls there just about every day that I could. I think my girls are now addicted to going to the beach, that is all they wanna do now...they even would pick the beach over Wild Waters.

Well that's all I got for now :)

p.s. If you have never been to IKEA, you so need to go!! It is awesome!!!

Busch Gardens and Beach

Hello!

So this past weekend we had Jordan, Doug's 16 yr old son. We ended up taking all the kids to Busch Gardens on Sunday and they all had a good time, even though if you see my pics on Facebook or Myspace Jordan is texting in just about every pic lol. Kaelyn didn't wear a diaper or a pull up while we are there and...NO ACCIDENTS!! I was so proud of her!! After Busch Gardens we went to Spring Hill to drop of Jordan and decided to just stay the night at the in-laws and just took Jordan to school on Monday.

Monday we went to Bealls...where we met, we both worked there. And saw just a few of the people that we used to work with that we haven't seen since Kaelyn was born. They have never met Kori so it was funny seeing their faces when we came in and had Kori. After the little visit we took the girls to a local beach in Spring Hill called Pine Island. It was Kori's first time to the beach and Kaelyn hadn't been there since she was about a yr old. The girls had a blast!

We are planning on taking the kids to Carney Island after Kaelyn's soccer game on Saturday! Kaelyn and Kori won't stop talking about the beach so we have to go!! :)

Guess that is about it!

Day 2

Alright so today is Day 2 of my Blog...

Kids are still the same, Kaelyn is doing awesome with potty training, she had soccer practice last night and said she needed to go and we hauled butt to the potty and she went! So excited that she held it in, considering it was a hike to get to the bathroom. Kori is still Kori....and Jordan is coming this weekend!! Sunday Doug has to work till 11am and we are thinking of taking all of the kids to Busch Gardens..we love that place! Jordan hasn't been in awhile and we haven't gotten to really do anything with him in a long time so we thought that would be a fun thing to do with all the kids.

The girls also start swim lessons in May! Kaelyn can swim underwater with no problem but getting her to swim above water is another story. Kori does a good job swimming with water wings on but i want em both to be able to swim without anything. We spend a lot of time at wild waters over the summer and they love it there, both the girls do perfect without water wings when we are there. My mom, my friend Bobbi have pools and we have on in our neighborhood so it will be nice for them to know how to swim alone just in case anything was to happen and they fell in.

Well I think that is all I have for yall today...have a GREAT day!

1st Blog

Ok so I also am doing this since all my friends are and it is a good way to keep family far away up to date with the kids and especially when some of the family don't have MySpace and Facebook.

Where to begin? The big thing of the week is...Kaelyn is using the potty!! She has been wearing panties for 4 days now! The only time that she wears pull-ups is when she is napping or at bed time. I try to keep her at the house so that there won't be any accidents in the car or in the stores. I did however take her with me to Wal-Mart yesterday and had her go potty before we left and i decided to put a pull-up on her and she didn't go in her pull-up the whole time we were out! YAY! We also ended up going to my step-son's baseball game last night and she told me she needed to go and we went and she went!! I was so excited that she told me and we made it to the potty!! I am so proud of her! I never thought this day would come...but it is true that if you don't pressure them they will do it when they are ready! Of course there are bribes in there too! lol But you do what you gotta do.

Now to Kori...she is definitely the 2year old that is in the terrible two phase! She was binkie free and then we moved into a 2 story townhouse and in order for her to sleep in her own bed we gave her a binkie and it works like magic! So we gave it back to her just for nap and bedtime. We only have been in our new place for a lil over a month so I think once we hit 3 months i am going to try to take it away again..ahhhh...Kori is kinda interested in the whole potty training thing, she wants to wear panties only also, which i have tried a ton of times and she just pees where she is..lol so that came to a stop and she wears the panties over her diaper now! She is starting to talk more which is great! Kaelyn always did all the talking for her so she didn't talk much and now we have stopped that and tell Kaelyn to let Kori talk on her own.

Last but not least...Jordan (my step-son)! We haven't seen him in at least 6months I would say. But last night his team played agains Dunnellon High so we went to that game and got to see him play...he did a great job! I am so proud of him! He is suppose to be coming Friday and staying with us till Sunday. The girls miss him so much so that would be nice if we can get him here this weekend to spend sometime with him.

So I guess that would be all for today! April and her family are coming over for dinner then we are taking Kaelyn and Carlie to soccer practice! Blog to ya later!
